Trading Vessel MD-003

Cpeterk24 reported this discovery in the Canonn discord

This is a crashed Anaconda and temporary outpost found in HR 5625 on planet A 1. It has three uplinks, plus a datapoint that gives encoded data materials. There are manufactured materials scattered around (all low grade). These messages are a part of the Survival Tips Series.

When mapped with the DSS scanner HR 5625 A 1 shows 1 notable signal “Human (1)”, TRADING VESSEL MD-003 appears as a planetary point of interest on planet A 1 on the Navigation panel. The MD-003 crash is located at 41.8036, 100.5841 (Accurate for Odyssey). The listening post points to -48.14569, -169.75015 which, on brief inspection, appears to be empty rocky ground.
Warning to pilots planning to land on HR 5625 A 1, the Gravity upon the surface is 2.66g.

The three listening posts that lead to the ship are located in PRAEA EUQ FV-Y C12, LUPUS DARK REGION AF-Z B1 and PRAEA EUQ MR-W C1-20

SURVIVAL TIPS 5/11

Tip 12:

Wash your hands after using the biowaste in your cargo

hold to attempt to make a garden. Seriously, hygiene is

important. who knows what this stuff is. It smells terrible

and really doesn’t taste very nice. I might not be making

another message for a while.

SURVIVAL TIPS 7/11

Tip 14:

Make sure your ship has a cabin you can seal off after

you’ve had an eye watering stomach bug. Plastic and duct

tape are not essential to seal the door, but they can make

the job easier and prevent leaks.

Maybe I should have put the plastic on the floor first.

SURVIVAL TIPS 8/11

Tip 20:

If you’re trying to grow your own food there is no point in

planting food cartridges. They don’t grow.

However, the algae in the air purifiers will grow like crazy

so no need to plant anything, just scrape the stuff off the

filters and you’ve got yourself a top notch dining

experience for one.

Listening Posts

The listening posts may not be visible on jump in to system, but they will appear if the body that they orbit if FSS scanned. After a D-Scan of the system they will be listed as a Concentrated Signal Source at about the 24th bar from the left in the Filtered Spectral Analysis bar. If the planet the listening post is orbiting is DSS scanned the post will be listed as a notable signal “OTHER (1)”.
