Trading Vessel MD-002

CMDR Stromb reported his discovery in the Canonn discord.

This is a crashed Anaconda and temporary outpost found in HR 6051 on planet 2 F. It has two uplinks, plus a datapoint that gives encoded data materials. There are manufactured materials scattered around (all low grade). The messages appear to be an addition to the three messages found previously on TRADING VESSEL MD-004.

When mapped with the DSS scanner HR 6051 2 F shows 1 notable signal “Human (1)”, TRADING VESSEL MD-002 appears as a planetary point of interest on planet 2 F on the Navigation panel, and within about 4.5Mm of 2 F the point of interest is visible on the planet’s surface.  The MD-002 crash is located at 49.0371 -127.0919.  The listening post points to 34.227612 -59.968201 which, on brief inspection, appears to be empty rocky ground.

The three listening posts that lead to the ship are located in COL 359 SECTOR KB-W D2-47, COL 359 SECTOR TV-J B11-4 and PRAEA EUQ NN-S B4-0.

SURVIVAL TIPS 3/11

Tip 2:

Oh yeah this is a big one. If you have to crash on a planet

make sure your cargo hold is full of useful stuff like evac

shelters, food, basic meds or replacement parts for your

newly wrecked ship.

Whatever you do don’t fill it with cargo that’s as much use

a chocolate fuel scoop.

SURVIVAL TIPS 6/11

Tip 29:

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times: survival on

a hostile planet is all about the prep. Prep, prep, prep.

Plan your crashes, it makes it a whole lot easier than

being surprised by one and then thinking, wow I wish I’d

planned this crash better.

Listening posts

The listening posts may not be visible on jump in to system, but they will appear if the body that they orbit if FSS scanned.  After a D-Scan of the system they will be listed as a Concentrated Signal Source at about the 24th bar from the left in the Filtered Spectral Analysis bar. If the planet the listening post is orbiting is DSS scanned the post will be listed as a notable signal “OTHER (1)”.
